Open IO provides an open-source solution to easily developing simple online multiplayer .IO games, such as slither.io and agar.io. Our current implementation of Open IO (available soon to play) draws inspiration from the classic game of snake. Using JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5 Canvas, CSS, Express, and Socket.io, we developed the foundational code to help developers create .IO games. Additionally, we have created a game that uses this foundational code, to show the power of Open IO.
